Internal Concern Within the Women's Division Over Recent NXT Call Ups?, Update on Women's Royal Rumble Match

- As seen on WWE programming this week, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, and Ruby Riot made their debuts on the main roster.

Dave Meltzer indicated in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that not all talents are going to be happy with this move and there could be concern about releases in the future. Meltzer hinted that when you need have a lot of additions to the roster should will eventually need to have subtractions.

Meltzer wrote, “With six new women characters all starting at once, that has left a lot of marginal talent nervous about spots because when there are a lot of additions there are likely some subtractions coming.”

- While many are speculating that the recent NXT call-ups to the main roster was done to beef up the main roster for a Women’s Royal Rumble match next year, that’s not the case.

There are currently no plans at all to have a Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018. However, with WWE constantly changing plans, nothing is certain until we get closer to the event.
