Mae Young Classic Competitor Suffers Serious Injury at Tonight's Tapings ** SPOILER **
The following article contains spoilers...

MYC Competitor Tegan Knox (Nixon Newell) appeared to suffer a knee injury at tonight’s Mae Young Classic tapings.

Her match against Rhea Ripley ended early when the referee threw up the “X” sign to alert officials that Knox was injured. As you can see in the video below, she was screaming in pain as the crowd went silent.

According to our corrispondent, Tegan hurt herself right at the start of the match, tried to keep going, and made it worse. She went down screaming and throwing up the X telling the ref to call the match off.

It’s another unfortunate setback for her because this was her second chance in the tournament after she was replaced last year due to an ACL tear on her other knee. That injury kept her out of action for about 9 months.

We hope that this injury won’t be as bad but based on the reports we got and the video below, it does not look good. Knox is under contract to WWE and has appeared at live events this year.

Results from tonight's tapings at this link.
