Becky Lynch to Defend Both Titles in Separate Matches at MITB?, Backstage Update on Sasha Banks Situation
- Sasha Banks situation remains unchanged and a “stalemate” according to Wrestling Observer Radio.

The word backstage is that Banks wants to sit out the rest of her contract and of course, if she opts to do that, Banks could be sitting out indefinitely. WWE contracts reportedly have verbiage in them that allows the company to add time to it for any injury or inactivity.

“Sasha Banks, the situation is unchanged. They are right now at a stalemate, and the word is—and of course you know how this goes—but the word is that if she wants to sit out the rest of her contract, she can sit out the rest of her contract. And of course, if you know what that means, that means she’s going to be sitting out forever because they’re going to add time for not working so, it’s—these contracts are very, very difficult.”

The Observer also notes that Banks - who was originally planned to be competing in the Women's Money in the Bank match - is likely not going to be a part of that PPV now unless things take a drastic change for the better.

- According to Dave Meltzer, the plan as of this week was for Becky Lynch to wrestle two matches on the Money in the Bank PPV.

The first would be for the Raw title against Lacey Evans and the second would be for the Smackdown championship against an opponent yet-to-be-announced, with Charlotte Flair being a possibility. A face-off segment between Flair and Lynch is scheduled to take place on tonight's SmackDown episode.
